Open Proxy Network

I upgrade LinLux.com to oProxy.org today, I have to say that this is one of the most robust proxy networks in the world. It has 3 main VPS and a failover backup server. This load balancing architecture distributes visitors to different nodes of network. The domain "Open-Proxy.com" has Round Robin DNS set up and automatic failover configuration. However I found the second VPS in PA is not fast enough, maybe I'll switch www2 to a better datacenter.

In the future I'll add more domains to this network, while the backbone will always be the same.

P.S. You may find out "oProxy.org" is hosted by Blogger.com :-) Yes, Blogger.com is the best place for hosting static pages.

Windows7.us : The concept of cloud computing

Ever since the first glance, I feel that the WebOS "EyeOS" is a very good showcase for the concept "cloud computing".

And this weekend I decide to donate my domain www.Windows7.us to demonstrate this promising project, I'll keep this site always online.

And I'm thinking about integrating EyeOS and Glype , otherwise EyeNav browser is useless without proxy function.

Also I remember some people managed to run EyeOS on their iphone as a light weight OS (Apache required). This program doesn't require any database installed, so it will be very handy for us to manage and back up everything, though we're not sure about its scalability.

BTW: I'm going to launch a blog hosting service on www.Bloog.us , it'll be based on Wordpress MU. In order to build up my own blog hosting service, I reserve www.Blogger.ac and www.WordPS.com for a year but now I'm going to sell them on Sedo, as I feel the domain www.bloog.us sounds better!
